The member countries of ALADI, which signed the TM80, are: Argentine Republic, Republic of Bolivia, Federative Republic of Brazil, Republic of Chile, Republic of Colombia, Republic of Ecuador, United Mexican States, Republic of Paraguay, Republic of Peru, Eastern Republic of Uruguay and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Later, on November 6th 1998, the Republic of Cuba was accepted as member country at the Tenth Meeting of the Council of Ministers, by Resolution 51(X), and became full member on August 26th 1999, once the correspondent formalities were fulfilled.

All Latin-American countries may integrate ALADI (Article 58 del TM80). Applications are considered by the Council of Ministers, according to the procedure established by Resolution 239 of the Committee of Representatives. Acceptance is granted by two thirds of votes for and none against.
