The Council of Ministers (Articles 30 to 32 and 43 of TM80) is the highest body of ALADI and its Regulation was approved by Resolution 1 of the Council of Ministers First Meeting, on November 16th. 1983.
It is composed of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member countries, or any other Minister or State Secretary in charge of integration, and takes the highest political decisions concerning the process of integration.
The Council of Ministers shall meet when convened by the Committee of Representatives and only makes decisions when all Member Countries are present.
