The General Secretariat established the Information System on Foreign Trade, which is composed of interconnected on-line databases and consists of updated data on member countries’ commerce, tariff measures and preferences of any product negotiated within the framework of the TM80, as well as information concerning the laws regulating foreign trade.

The Information System on Foreign Trade modules are

Statistics	Tariff Measures	Preferences	Regulations on Foreign Trade
Export and import statistics of all member countries among each other and with third countries, by national tariff item, total foreign trade and main products (from 1995 on).	National nomenclature (code and description) and import levies for each country. Sistema Andino de Franja de Precios ( Andean System of Prices ' Bands) used by Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.	Current preferences negotiated within the scope of the TM80, as indicated in the Nomenclature of the Association.	Laws regulating foreign trade of member countries, according to product categories and kind of measure, in accordance with the UNCTAD’s classification criteria.
